If you are one who enjoys peace and calm or needs serenity in your life than the practice of Yoga may be the way to go. Yoga is a discipline and almost a spiritual practice that includes breathing, meditation, and body postures for health and relaxation. There are different types of yoga that focus on different concentrations. Hatha, Bikram and Vinyasa are popular forms.

HIIT

HIIT is short for High Intensity Interval Training. This method involves training where you do all out intense bursts of exercise followed by a short recovery periods. The main goal is for your heart rate to get up quickly so it burns more fat in less time.

TRX

TRX is a weight training form of exercise where you use your own weight as resistance. It is a piece of equipment that is essentially bungee cords with handles that is against a bar or wall where you can pull, push, squat, hang, etc. to do weights.

At Home

One thing that is becoming popular recently is at home workouts. Believe it or not simply walking is a great work out. It gets your heart rate going just as much and gets your exercise time in. This is something you can do at home. With technology, the idea of at home workouts are popular. Streaming or on demand workouts are now available at your fingertips. There are services available for free or for a fee that you can gain access to to enjoy working out at home. This is popular among at home parents or even the busy workforce.

No matter what you chose, there is something for everyone. Look into what is available around you to choose what will be most effective for you and your weight loss and fitness goals.
