I came across an interesting infographic that shows the state of UK’s Consumer Loans. I don’t know if it was overlooked by the authors of the infographic but student loans aren’t represented. I think that would be the most alarming difference if we were comparing it to the United States average debt.

I too think it’s interesting that student loans aren’t on there! I have accumulated around $40K in student loans, but thankfully I’ve started paying it off.
I really just like to sit and watch how quickly the debt piles up for all of the UK. I can’t even imagine that much money or where it all goes…
